More soon, hopefully
Since I’m suffering from writer’s block and/or just lazy these days, a friend is going to help me out with keeping the blog going. Rachel, an American who studied with me in Damascus, now lives in Jerusalem and will send me at least one (hopefully more) updates about her life. Next up: a report on the progress in Jerusalem as Capital of Arab Culture 2009.

I came across your blog and would like to chat with you about your stay in Syria. I will be going there this January for 6 months (maybe one year) for Arabic study.
